Colossians 2:13
“And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our trespasses.”
TL;DR:
Through Jesus, we are forgiven—completely and forever. Our identity isn’t found in our mistakes, but in the righteousness of Christ. Don’t wallow in guilt; walk in grace!
He makes us alive, forgiving ALL our trespasses—past, present, and future!
He died once and for all!
I remember the moment I first felt the forgiveness of Jesus—it was life-changing. I felt clean, pure, and free, even though I was a 42-year-old woman broken by addiction. I felt as beautiful as a virgin again, completely washed by His grace.
For a while, I thought I’d never sin again. But then, life happened—I stumbled. I was tempted to pick up the guilt and shame I had already laid at the cross. That’s when I realized something powerful: Jesus didn’t just die for some of my sins—He died for all of them.
There is not a single day of my life that He hasn’t seen. And still, He chooses to love and forgive me. Every day. Every fall. Every time I return to Him.
To be healthy and well in body, mind, and spirit, I have to live in His continuous love and forgiveness. When guilt and shame try to creep in, I remind myself—He died to set me free from them!
We will always face temptation in this life, and yes, sometimes we will fall. But our sins do not define us. The righteousness of Jesus Christ defines us.
So when you stumble, don’t wallow in what’s wrong—marvel in the magnificent grace of God!
Keep turning from sin. Keep trusting Him. Keep trying again and again.
Because we are not our wrongs—we are His right!
