2 Corinthians 4:16–18
“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
TL;DR:
Your pain is temporary. Your purpose is eternal. Fix your eyes on what is unseen—and watch how God’s glory becomes visible in your life.
One of my friends recently encouraged me with these words:
“In a short time, this will be a faint memory.”
That truth brought peace to my heart. Whatever you’re facing today—pain, uncertainty, loss, or disappointment—it’s temporary. This life is fleeting, but what God is doing inside you will last forever.
Even if we live a hundred years on this earth, it’s just a blink compared to eternity with Jesus.
Every challenge you face is producing something greater within you—a deeper faith, stronger endurance, and a clearer vision of God’s eternal glory.
When you shift your focus from what is seen to what is unseen, fear fades and hope grows. You begin to see glimpses of God’s invisible hand at work—turning what once felt impossible into something beautiful.
Don’t lose heart. Fix your eyes on Him.
The unseen will soon become seen.
