John 14:27, 29
“Peace I leave you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid…
29 I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe.”
TL;DR:
You will face trouble—but God gives a peace the world cannot touch. Believe He is with you in it.
Jesus didn’t say you’d avoid trouble.
He said you’d have peace in it.
His peace is not like the world’s peace—momentary, shallow, or dependent on circumstances. God’s peace holds steady because it comes from Him, not from what’s happening around you.
When trouble hits, your first instinct may be fear, anxiety, or trying to fix everything yourself. But Jesus tells you ahead of time:
“When it happens, believe.”
Believe He is still with you.
Believe He already knew this moment.
Believe He is working it out for good.
Believe He has overcome the world.
God’s peace becomes your anchor when circumstances shake you.
Your belief, faith, and hope in Him keep you healthy, grounded, and well—even in seasons of deep challenge.
