John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
TL;DR:
Valentine’s Day may come with expectations, but the greatest love you will ever receive is already yours in Christ. Live loved—no matter what today looks like.
Happy Valentine’s Day ❤️
You are deeply loved by the Most High God. Not conditionally. Not temporarily. Not based on performance.
He knows you intimately. He promises to never leave you or forsake you. He is with you always—even to the very end of the age. That is secure love. That is steadfast love. That is eternal love.
This holiday can stir up expectations. You may expect flowers, attention, romance, affirmation. And when those expectations are unmet, disappointment can quietly creep in.
But when you place your hope in what the world says you should have, your heart becomes vulnerable to comparison and discouragement.
When you look instead at what you already have in Jesus—your Savior, Redeemer, and constant companion—you realize you are not lacking.
You are chosen.
You are pursued.
You are treasured.
You are redeemed.
The cross is the greatest Valentine ever given.
Today, rest in His love. Let it steady you. Let it fill you. Let it overflow into gratitude.
Whether you are celebrated by others or sitting quietly alone, you are fully seen and fully loved.
Live loved.
