He Prayed for You: Finding Unity and Healing in John 17

John 17:20-21 — “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you.”

tl;dr: Before His crucifixion, Jesus prayed specifically for you — and that love is the foundation of our unity, health, and wholeness in Him.

In the garden, before He was crucified, Jesus prayed for us. He continues to intercede for us daily.

Yesterday, we went to a moving Maundy Thursday service centered on John 17. If you can take the time to read and reflect on that chapter, I encourage you to do so. Jesus knows and loves each of us intimately. This is imperative to remember in our Christian health and wellness.

We are loved.

Take this eternal love and truly love your brother and sister today. Let us be one, as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are One.

May your Good Friday be a reflective one.
