1 John 4:4, 18-19: “You dear children, are from God, and have overcome them, because the one who is in you, is greater than the one who is in the world. There is no fear in Love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because He first loved us.”
TL;DR: Fear loses its grip when you stop relying on your own abilities and start trusting in God’s perfect love. The sovereign God of the universe has carried you this far and He is not about to drop you now.

Today, instead of leaning on your own abilities to get everything done, try trusting that Christ, working through you, will take care of it. That shift — from self reliance to faith in God — is where real peace begins.
If He has given you great ability and drive, that is fantastic. Use every bit of it for His glory. Just remember, He is the one giving it to you moment by moment. Your gifts are not the source — He is.
Perfect love casts out fear. That is not just a comforting phrase. It is a promise. He perfectly loves each of us, and that love leaves no room for fear to take hold. Overcoming fear through faith is not about working up more courage on your own. It is about letting His love be bigger than whatever you are facing.
Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. The sovereign God of the universe perfectly loves you. He did not bring you this far to drop you now. Whatever is in front of you today, you do not have to face it in your own strength.
Trust in His love for you today. Walking in God’s love instead of fear is one of the most freeing things you will ever do — and it starts with one simple choice to believe that He is exactly who He says He is.
