Proverbs 15:16 “Better is a little with the fear of the Lord than great wealth with turmoil.”

The “fear” of God is not a trembling kind of fear. It is a deep reverence and awe for Him — a sincere desire to be pleasing to Him above all else. That kind of God-centered perspective on wealth changes everything.
Easy to say, much harder to live out. We cannot have two masters and remain single-hearted. We cannot serve God and money at the same time. The reality is that our physical abilities, our financial assets, all of it — it is His in the first place.
Honoring God with what you have, right where you are, is the call. Do not let what you have become a burden to you. Finding peace through faith over finances is not about having less — it is about holding it all more loosely, with an open and grateful hand.
