A simple, sincere prayer to Jesus is powerful. No matter the struggle, He is always ready to hear and help.
Call upon the name of the Lord!
One of my most frequent prayers is simple:
“Jesus, I need Your help.”
Simple. Honest. To the point.
There are times when I do not have the words for a long prayer. There are moments when life feels overwhelming, confusing, or difficult. In those moments, I simply call on Jesus.
What a comfort to know that God is always listening.
Romans 10:13 reminds us, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” What an incredible promise. No one is beyond His reach. No one is too far gone. No one has stumbled too many times.
We all stumble and fall.
We all have moments when we need help, guidance, forgiveness, strength, or peace.
The answer is not to hide from God. The answer is to call upon Him.
Jesus is near.
Jesus hears.
Jesus saves.
Today, whatever is being faced, call upon the name of the Lord. He is faithful.
“Jesus, I need Your help.”
That prayer still works.
