Romans 15:5,7
“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus… Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.”

God is the source of endurance and encouragement. When His light fills the heart, even stormy days can be met with peace, love, and strength.
Endurance and encouragement. Every day I need a healthy dose of both.
Life can feel heavy. Some days are filled with joy and ease, while others feel stormy, uncertain, and exhausting. What a comfort to know that endurance and encouragement are not things I have to manufacture on my own. God gives them.
That truth brings such peace.
When I let His light fill my heart, even on the darkest days, I can still see the “SonShine.” His presence changes perspective. The storm may still be there, but it no longer defines the day.
His light keeps me grounded in love when frustration tries to creep in. His encouragement helps me keep going when I feel weary. His endurance strengthens me when I want to quit.
And what beautiful instruction follows this promise: “Accept one another, just as Christ accepted you…”
That can be hard sometimes. People are imperfect. Relationships can be messy. But Christ accepted me in all my imperfections, failures, and weaknesses. Remembering that helps me extend grace to others.
Today, no matter what kind of weather the heart is experiencing, may there be encouragement in knowing the God of endurance is near. Let His light fill the heart. Let His peace steady the soul. Keep looking for the SonShine.
