Hebrews 10:9, 36, 39
“Then He said, ‘Here I am, I have come to do your will.’ He sets aside the first to establish the second.”
“You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised.”
“But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.”
TL;DR:
Let go of the old, persevere in God’s will, and refuse to shrink back—He strengthens every step.
Don’t shrink back. Believe and do the will of God.
As a new year begins, you’re invited to release patterns that no longer serve your walk with Christ. Some habits, thoughts, or emotional reactions might feel familiar, but familiarity doesn’t mean they’re healthy. God calls you into His will, not the recycling of old ways.
He speaks through His Word. When you read it, meditate on it, and actually apply it, you step into the life He designed for you. Perseverance is part of this calling. Courage is part of this calling. And the confidence to move forward comes not from your strength, but from His.
Shrinking back keeps you stuck. It keeps you circling the same mountain. It keeps you living beneath your calling.
Stepping into God’s will moves you toward promise, purpose, and spiritual maturity.
Be bold today.
Let go of your way.
Embrace His way.
Persevere with confidence, knowing you can do all things through Christ who gives you strength.
Don’t shrink back—step forward.
