John 10:14
“I am The Good Shepherd; I know my sheep, and my sheep know me.”
TL;DR:
God knows you more intimately than anyone else—every thought, every struggle, every joy. But do you intentionally know Him? Fill your mind with His Word, trust His love, and let that relationship guide your life.
God knows each of us intimately. He understands exactly what we are going through. He knows every hair on our head and every word we will speak before it even forms on our tongue. Even those closest to us cannot know us as deeply as God does.
But there’s another side to this relationship—do we truly know Him?
We come to know God by trusting His constant love, by reading His Word, and by letting that Word take deep root in our hearts and minds. Recently, since I’ve been injured, I’ve been spending time watching a Netflix series. Without realizing it, I’ve been feeding my mind with characters and storylines that occupy space where God’s truth should be.
It’s not that a show is always wrong, but when it takes priority over time spent with Him, I notice the difference in my strength and focus. What I truly want is to be thinking about knowing God—meditating on His love for me, learning how to love Him better, and drawing courage from His Word.
God’s Word says, “If you love me, you will keep my commands.” Today, even in the midst of my limitations and the challenges of simple daily tasks, I want to remember: God knows me, and I want to know Him.
I hope this encourages you too—let’s know Him, trust Him, and live fully in His love. 😇🙏❤️
