Hebrews 4:15
“For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet without sin.”
TL;DR:
Jesus understands your weaknesses completely—and His perfect love gives you the courage to try again.
Jesus sees every moment of your weakness—and loves you through all of it.
He understands your struggles even when you don’t understand why you think, feel, or react the way you do.
You never walk through temptation alone; He has been tempted in every way and stands ready to strengthen you, restore you, and lift you back up.
1 Corinthians 13:4–8 gives us the perfect description of His love:

not proud

not self-seeking

not easily angered

keeps no record of wrongs

always protects

always trusts
-
always hopes
-
always perseveres
-
never fails
You may fall short of loving Him—or others—with this kind of perfect love.
But He never falls short in loving you.
And because His love is steady, patient, and unfailing, you don’t have to quit when you stumble.
You can try again.
And again.
And again.
His understanding gives you comfort.
His love gives you courage.
His Spirit gives you strength.
