John 10:10
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
TL;DR:
Life to the full isn’t about perfect conditions—it’s about gratitude, perseverance, and joy in the moment. Embrace the gift in front of you and live it fully.
What an incredible Birkie weekend!
Considering what the Birkie team had to work with, the conditions were amazing. The snow was phenomenal. The effort behind the scenes was extraordinary. What a gift to witness that kind of dedication.
Skiing with Tonto—age 11—was unforgettable. He earned the “Patriarch” award and was only 40 seconds off first place. We finished 5th overall and missed the ladies’ podium by just 14 seconds. So close!
Well done, Tonto!!!!
Was it perfect? No.
Was it joyful? Absolutely.
I also had the privilege of serving as an Ambassador for three days—skiing Korte at Open Track, Korte Friday, and the full Birkie Classic on Saturday. What an honor to encourage others, cheer them on, and even sing “The Ants Go Marching” up the hills to keep spirits high.
That is life to the full.
Not waiting for perfect outcomes.
Not measuring joy only by podiums.
But showing up. Giving your best. Encouraging others. Praising God in the middle of it all.
Jesus said He came so you could have life—and have it abundantly.
Abundant life isn’t ease.
It’s engagement.
It’s gratitude.
It’s community.
It’s praising Him whether you win, place, or simply finish.
Go live life to the full today.
Ski your race. Sing up the hills. Encourage someone.
And praise the Lord in it all.
