No Greater Way: Trusting God Without Doubt

James 1:6-8:
“But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.”

TL;DR: Trust God fully. When His Word gives you clear direction, don’t waver—follow it with confidence. Doubt leads to instability, but firm faith brings peace.

Yesterday, my race went extremely well, and I’m so grateful for your prayers! I could feel the power of prayer as I climbed the hills—even with my freshly broken wrist!

I also had complete confidence in my decision to stay in the race I was assigned to. Why? Because I based my choice on God’s Word, not my emotions or opinions.

Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” That’s exactly what happened—I let God’s Word guide me, and I didn’t second-guess it.

I’ll admit, I can be indecisive at times. When I waver between choices, I don’t have peace. James 1:6-8 warns about being double-minded—unstable and tossed around like waves in the sea. But when we trust what God has spoken, we can walk forward with stability and peace.

Today, I encourage you: If God has given you direction, follow it! Don’t second-guess or doubt. Trust and obey—there is no greater way!
