I’m often guilty of pushing hard to make things happen in my own strength. I strive, stress, and work beyond what God is asking of me — and I forget to rest in Him.
God rested on the seventh day. Not because He was tired, but to show us how to live — at peace, trusting, and surrendered.
Sometimes God says no.
Sometimes He says slow.
Sometimes He says grow.
And sometimes He says yes.
Whatever the answer is, you can choose to rest in it.
Resting in God’s ways is trusting in God’s ways.
You don’t have to force outcomes, chase control, or carry burdens that belong to Him.
Today, enter His rest.
Receive His peace.
Trust His plan.
Stop striving — start resting.
