See the Little Things

Ruth 3:9
“Who are you?” he asked.
“I am your servant Ruth,” she said. “Spread the corner of your garment over me, since you are a kinsman-redeemer.”

TL;DR:

When you recognize God in the little things, you’ll begin to see His hand in everything.

In this verse, Ruth humbly asks Boaz—a kinsman-redeemer—to spread the corner of his garment over her.
A kinsman-redeemer was someone who restored what had been lost—protecting, providing, and redeeming on behalf of family.

That simple gesture, “the corner of your garment,” represented covering, care, and restoration.
It reminds me of Jesus, our ultimate Redeemer.
Sometimes we want God to move mountains, yet He begins with something small—a whisper, a moment, a glimpse of hope.

Ruth didn’t ask for everything. She simply asked for the corner—and that was enough.

Faith works the same way.
Jesus said that faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains.
When you learn to notice the small ways God shows up—an answered prayer, a moment of peace, a friend’s kindness—you start to see the bigger picture of His love unfolding.

Treasure the little things He’s doing right now.
The corner today is a promise of the full garment to come.
